The aim of the Society is to relieve the suffering of those in need, regardless of race or religion. Material or moral help is given through person-to-person contact to individuals or families. Assistance is essentially local and it is adapted according to the particular needs, places, and circumstances. We draw our inspiration and energy from the Gospels and Catholic social teaching and attempt to live the core values (Love of God and Love of our neighbour) through an action oriented program, working directly with people in need. Saint Vincent de Paul Society is in need the following: single/double/queen beds with frames (no head boards),
2 cushion love-seats (no couches), chest-of-drawers, book cases, small kitchen tables with chairs, coffee tables,
end tables, pots & pans, and cutlery.
