Perpetua Press will be in our parish hall this weekend selling books by Catholic/Christian writers: stories, Bible studies, and family nurturing books so that we can all grow stronger in our faith and our reflection of God’s love to our neighbours, friends and family. Our mission is to create more joy, kindness and love in the world. Perpetua Press is a Small Independent Publisher that publishes and markets books that build faith and family.

Sisters in the League, Sacred Heart Catholic Women’s League shares The “1” Campaign to promote the League and address the ongoing concern of declining membership. The purpose of the campaign is to:
Recruit: Encourage members to invite women in our parish and community to join the League.
Retain: Show gratitude and appreciation to current members.
Regain: Welcome members or councils back to the sisterhood.
All it takes is “1” step in the right direction and “1” member to make a difference. Join in the excitement of this campaign that seeks to welcome new members, appreciate present members and welcome back returning members! As it is in all things, it begins with “1”!
In September we Encourage and Pray for leadership in our own council. We also pray for the leadership of the League as the National Executive takes on their new roles.
