Volunteers

All  adult volunteers working with children in the Archdiocese of Edmonton are required to:

• Obtain an updated Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector Check every four years

• Obtain an Intervention Records Check when working with children or youth under 18 years of age

• Complete Praesidium Academy modules, an abuse prevention-training program that teaches best practices in ministering safely to young and vulnerable populations. 

You will be contacted by the parish office staff to arrange for this training.

The cost for the police checks is $10 when submitted with a letter from the parish office confirming that you are a volunteer. If cost is an issue, please let us know.
