The Holy Sacraments of the Church 

For Infants – An Interview, a Registration and a Workshop are required for parents.   Please provide your child’s Birth Certificate.  Please contact the parish directly. 

A sacrament that cleanses a person from original sin and initiates them into the Christian Church.

Matrimony

A sacrament that unites a man and a woman in a lifelong covenant of love and mutual support.

Couples are asked to meet with the Pastor six months prior to their wedding date so that all documentation and paperwork can be completed. 

They will need to provide their Baptismal Certificates and their parents' place of birth.  Completing a Marriage Preparation Course is also required.  Sometimes a Catholic may have married civilly - by a JP or Magistrate - or in a non-Catholic Church where a Dispensation is required. We are always open to help those who have for one reason or another omitted the Catholic Form of Marriage.  If you would like to have your marriage convalidated or have questions, please contact the main office.

Sacraments that allow children to receive forgiveness for sins and partake in the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time.

Grade 2 is the age for receiving these sacraments.
If your child is older than Grade 2 there is still time to catch up.  *Check with the school or church bulletin for dates and times.

Grade 6 is the expected age for receiving Confirmation but all older students who have not been confirmed are also welcome.  Check with the school or church bulletin for dates and times.

A sacrament that strengthens a baptized person with the Holy Spirit to live a mature Christian life.

The process through which adults are gradually introduced to the faith and fully initiated into the Catholic Church.

For children over 7 years old and older who are interested in becoming Catholic or who are Baptized in another faith and would like to continue their journey as a Catholic.  Please contact the parish directly.

Anointing of the Sick 

A sacrament offering spiritual and sometimes physical healing, strength, and comfort to those who are seriously ill or near death.

Call the Parish office to arrange for a priest to make a visit.

Reconciliation

A sacrament in which Catholics confess sins to a priest and receive God’s forgiveness and grace.

Generally, reconciliation is offered half hour before each Mass.

Holy Orders

The sacrament through which men are ordained as deacons, priests, or bishops to serve the Church.
